I stumbled onto Run Lab Rat Run last night, after finishing another book I loved (She-Wolf and Cub, by Lilith Saintcrow). Within the first couple of pages, I was hooked.
I promised myself I wouldn’t reach out to you until I could put together a more professional approach, but I’m sitting here watching my kiddo in his jujitsu class and have been reading the book, and just had to reach out. (I think the line that really hooked me was something about cheese.)
So – this isn’t a proposal, but a question: have you considered producing any audiobooks for your work? Specifically this one. And yes, I’m asking because I am a narrator and I loathe sales pitches so much. I would jump at the opportunity to narrate this one. I figured before going into details, it was worth asking if this is at all in the realm of possibility. (And if not me, I would be happy to make recommendations.) My partner is also a novelist and I understand how fraught the landscape is.
I just really, really love your book. If the answer’s a resounding “buzz off!” That’s cool; I’ll continue to read and support by rating/reviewing. Great work. But I do hope you may consider.
